How John Created the Deuteronomy-Joshua Draft

John created the DJD by starting at the end of the ZrD and integrating Deuteronomy 29:1 to Joshua 5:13 backwards. From there John integrated Joshua 6:1-27 forwards into the ZrD as shown below. The solid boxes represents the text (wax tablets) from the ZrD and the dashed line boxes represents the wax tablets John inserted and in the order that he inserted them (DJ1 being the first). The two dashed line boxes that contain two items (DJ6 and DJ7, DJ5 and DJ8) represents one wax tablet in which John added content going backwards in the ZrD and then appended the content to the wax tablet when John went forwards in the ZrD.
